PC1832 wiring

Having issues with the "simple" step of wiring the 2DS up... I am installing a brand new system and there is no information about how to wire the 2DS to an 1832 board.

What is included in the quickstart guide is the wire colors for the 2DS, but not how they match up to the board terminals (Ring, TIP, T-1, R1). I have tried the most obvious combinations, but nothing seems to work. I don't get any LEDs lighting up regardless of what I try.

Any insight / advice is greatly appreciated!

You are trying to connect to the telephone lines, don't do this. The connection on the Envisalink is the same as the panel: Red goes to Red, Green goes to Green, etc.

On your panel you will find terminal connections labelled Red, Black, Yellow, and Green. These are the "Keybus" connections.

Worked like a charm... I was trying to figure out how to hook the 4 wires up to the telephone instead of hooking them up to the keypad slots.
