Probably a fairly stupid question, I know... But since the EVL is registering as a keypad, is there any way to enter the DSC program mode (i.e. *8[installer's code])? Specifically I want to be able to REMOTELY add user access pins to the panel.
I have a vacation property that I lend out to friends and family, and would like to segregate the visitors by giving each their own pin - and then delete it when they finish their stay.
Using my VERA zwave controller, I'm able to do that with the door locks, but I hate having to give the same stale set of pins to everyone.
Is it possible to program DSC panel using EVL3

That feature already exists in the Envisalerts+ plus offering. You can add/delete/modify users from the regular portal AND from the mobile portal too.

Thanks for the reply, GW. If what you say is true, that would be fantastic. Perhaps I'm just not fluent enough in how the portal works, but, when I log in an go to manage device, I see an option under "MANAGE", called "User Names".
Under that option, I can add user names and ID slots, but not pins.
I assume this is where I would correlate eyez-on usernames with exiting users that are already slotted in the DSC panel.
If I try to click on 'user codes', that prompts to subscribe to the envisalink + service.
If that's really the only way to add a new user that currently does not exist in the dsc control panel from the portal, then I guess I will subscribe.
Could you confirm I'm not missing a more basic (i.e. free) way to get there from here?

It is the User Codes option that you want. It allows you to not only label existing User Codes, but you can add/modify/delete codes just like you would if you were local to a keypad.
This feature was created for people like yourself or business owners with high staff turnover.

Works great! I subscribed, and after an initial learning curve, I'm all set. Thanks.
Turns out the "master" code is not what I thought it was - I was entering the installer code. Since the portal doesn't indicate an error if you get it wrong, I just happily kept adding users thinking it was taking. Only after adding about 15 IDs and testing them, did I realize it hadn't worked.
Once I had the correct master code, I saw each user populate in the list under the "add user" fields. I wish that were a bit more intuitive (i.e. provide some user feedback to let them know it isn't working) - or a template/thumbnail of what the screen should look like after a successful entry is added.
Still, this is exactly what I needed. Thanks so much!
