Envisalink 4 does not work with Vera according to Vera

According to Vera customer support, Envisalink 4 does not work with Vera (version 2 and 3 do work). Has anyone built or found a plugin that will make it work?

The TPI is identical on all DSC versions (2,3, and 4). They are incorrect.

Nope, it did not work. Trying to get a refund on the 4 and purchased a 3.

It won't help. They are identical. I use the Envisalink 4 with my own Vera Lite.

Did you try posting your debug to the Vera forum? They wrote the plug-in and would probably be your best resource. I didn't do anything other than enter my IP address and password, which I left as the default "user".

Vera and EVL4 do work; however, the implementation on Vera has been problematic since UI7 and there has been no maintenance for sometime.

As @GrandWizard recommended post issues on the MCV forum where you would get better support.
As I no longer use Vera of this, I won't be able to assist.

I use the Vera Plus with EnvisaLink 4. No problems. It was a bit tricky setting it up since the alarm zones all became active and armed, although not the alarm control (with instant notification), meaning each time I walked in front of a detector i would receive notification. That was fixed in the Vera settings.

Everything works fine.

Second, keep your password 6 characters or less!

Many people who say "It just worked" have probably not changed the password and I think that's the difference. Argh, I wasted so much time! I hope this helps someone else.
