Max Wire Length?

Hi. First post. Is there a max length for the ethernet cable? Will a longer cable slow things down?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I believe the maximum length of an ethernet run is supposed to be 100 meters (328 feet).

Our device is very low bandwidth so I doubt if you would notice any difference at all even if your run was a little longer.

I'm hoping it will work with a cell-based router, and upstairs will be better than downstairs.
