I am installing an Envisalink 4 on a DSC Power Series (PC 1864) and am experiencing a continual reboot of the Envisalink 4. The LEDs turn on and off sequentially from one end to the other and then it appears the unit shuts off briefly and then does it again. I didn't see anything on the guide that explains the LED blinks and I can't find any other discussion in the forum related to this. Has anyone else experienced this?
I rechecked wiring, power cycled the panel, and even powered the Envisalink 4 with a separate power supply thinking it may be a power budget issue. No change with any of the above attempts. I'm at a loss on this one.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Envisalink 4 Continual Power Cycling
I think this is well documented, but maybe only in the KB.
If you put a 1st-generation Envisalink 4 into STATIC IP mode before your module comes online with the Envisacor servers, it will sit in a continual reboot cycle.
You need to either turn off Static IP mode or factory default the module.
Once you have the module online and have a firmware version above 1.0.60 you can then put the module back onto Static IP.
