Setup of Generic Camera in internal network

Post by ianmccook »

I have an internal network, and I am trying to set up a Foscam camera as part of the EyezOn system. The camera was not one purchased through Eyes-on, but one I already own. The camera is set up and accessible online through another application, but I am having trouble getting this to work with EyezON.

I was able to set this up as an "external" camera, but then when you access the camera through the Eyes-on website, this then goes external to another app to view. EyezOn shows on their website the viewing of the camera through the website, so I believe this is possible.

When I set this camera up with the internal network, as a generic camera, it asks for two inputs: Camera Name, and port. I have looked up the port number for this camera, and found it through Foscam to be "88". However, when I enter this into the Port when setting up the camera, the results come back with "mystaticIpadress:88" that it can't reach that page.

Any advice on how to set up a generic camera on an internal network?
