Thanks for that info.. Unfortunately, the revision of the DIR-825 is not compatible with DD-WRT otherwise I would have had that running and have been able to use any port like you configured..

I understand that, but I was referring to my situation where I don't want to get rid of my current router just to be able to add my port of choice..

I beg your forgiveness...
I was quoting this post -
The '2DS won't respond to port 4081. It will only respond to port 80 or 8080.
What make of router is that? I don't recognise the pages.

I am the creator of this thread and can vouch for port forwarding working with the product (2DS).
To all you thread hi-jackers experiencing issues, it is with your router, NOT the Envisalink product. Contact your router manufacture with your support requests, or heaven forbid you Google "port forwarding" and learn something.

The Port Forwarding section of the router menu that you posted only lets you open ports but not redirect to a different port. However, the Virtual Server section (just above Port Forwarding on your Advanced menu) lets you redirect any WAN port to any IP/port combo on your LAN (such as your 2DS). I have a DIR-655 which I believe is the same as your DIR-825.
