Envisalink 3 Lost Connection with Server

Are you trying to access the module from a separate VLAN and you haven't change the default password? If so the module will not accept "remote" connections from another LAN as part of a firewall rule Envisacor added to save people from themselves. If this is your case you will need to access the module from the same network segment, change the password from the default to something else, and then you will be able to access it from outside of the network.

I just did a packet capture I see the HTTP get to my EVL-3 and its sending a RST packet back. So some reason the EVL-3 is ignoring local connections. Not sure why.

AHA this is my answer I bet!!!

Crazy. Let me try this. Will post back.

Can I disable this firewall?

ok, thank you! The password change now allows me to login locally.

Now for the next part haha; my vera stopped working with it which is the root of why I'm down this road :shock:
