Apologies but your answer is still unclear to me. Are there both EVL-4EZR and EVL-4EZ models? If yes, what are the differences?

No, you can only by the retail pack now. We used to sell the Envisalink4 by itself a long time ago but now we only sell the EZR.

I'm up and running and switched over from IpDatatel. Fairly easy install if you have the patience to read a few instructions and pay attention.
