Try changing it to zone type 23 first, if that doesn't work then you'll need to program a custom zone type.

I have a 20P with zones I wanted to monitor only. I ended having to put them into partition 2 and had zone following send me a SMS to my cell for a fault condition. This worked great for over a year and then about a month ago something changed and now it only works if I also have a keypad programed for partition 2.
