- The actual DSC panel does not get updated unless "panel time" has drifted by more than 2 minutes. Depending on your model of panel and attached peripherals, the Envisalink's knowledge of "panel time" could be off seconds to minutes over a day. I can't get into the details but it is in the nature of their architecture. As I said before, this feature is just meant to keep the LCD time in the correct timezone and to reset the time on a power failure.
