Time stamps of events reported by EnvisaLinks

I have noticed that the time reported by the server in e-mails and phone texts is the time that the server received the message from my EnvisaLink, not the actual time of the event. When there is a network connection, the times are essentially the same, but when the network is down and the EnvisaLink 3 buffers the events and sends them to the server when the network connection is re-established, the server reports what is an inaccurate event time. I would have thought that the EnvisaLink would send the actual event time, and that that time would be what is reported, even if the reporting was delayed for whatever reason. Can someone elaborate on this behavior, and why?

Not enough FLASH my friend, not enough FLASH. A timestamp is twice as long as an event, in memory terms. If you want timestamps, you have to loose about 2/3 of your buffer depth.
