alerts and messages

This is probably answered somewhere but I'm having trouble receiving alerts and messages.This might be different in that I'm using a vista 250 bp panel.some of the directions for honeywell install aren't accurate as the numbers in the programming are different.however in this forum somewhere I recall seeing someone with similar problems and it being solved by having the cell phone co. turn on "e-mail detect" is this my problem??I have 2 128's waiting to get hooked up if I can get this thing to work

There are completely different instructions for the Vista 128 and 250. Are you using the correct instructions?

The panel is a vista 128...sorry..I want to hook up a 250 though.The programming manuals are the same from Honeywell.I downloaded the instructions from the website.Is there more specific instructions somewhere?because the Honeywell vista setup instructions I downloaded say that they are for 128 and 250,s part 2b.
