Partition 1: Offline and not getting updates

Just installed the 3 on a DSC panel. LEDs say all is fine. Looks like I got one update showing some zones open and closed but they have not updated for hours and for status I show "partition 1: offline". I have no idea what partition 1 is but is appears I am offline because I am not getting any alerts despite followers on all zones. Tried searching the forum for help but search keeps eliminating my key words. Any help is greatly appreciated.
