Envisalarms need for local emergency numbers

I'm a new customer - installed my EVL3 and reprogrammed my Vista 15p panel on Monday and everything is working great! Now I'm interested in signing up for monitoring by Envisalarms but I'm hitting a roadblock. In the Envisalarms primer, it says that I need to have my local 24-hour police and fire emergency numbers to give them. I've contacted my local police department in Omaha, NE and they seem utterly baffled by this question. They say "911". Then I explain that this is for an out of state monitoring company that apparently cannot dial Omaha's 911. Then they give me a number that is a 24-hour number for non-emergencies and tell me that there is no other number available. Well that doesn't give me a lot of comfort. I've scoured their website and also found nothing but "911" for emergencies.

Shouldn't a national monitoring center have a database of local emergency numbers throughout the country that they should be using? Or shouldn't they just be able to connect to all local 911 services based on the customer's address? I have never been asked to provide this information to any monitoring company that I've used in the past. :?

Hate to answer my own question, but I just heard back from a very helpful person at the city that indicated I need to have the alarm company email the 911 dispatch center to get the emergency numbers. Apparently the numbers are non-public and they will only give them out directly to the alarm companies and not to the general public. Hopefully there is a place for me to enter these special instructions when I sign up for Envisalarms.
