I have the eyes on board connect to my dsc 1550 panel, is there a way to reset the installer code or change it. I want to cancel my monitoring and do self monitoring but the company that took over our monitoring locked us out of our dsc 1550, I want to cancel but they refuse to change the code or reset it! I don't understand how they are able to do this as we own the system for over 13 years!

Welcome to the alarm industry....
If you can live with FTC events in your log (fail to communicate), then you don't actually need the installers code. You may not even get these events if their receiver is still active.
So no, you can't change the installers code without reseting the panel. Depending on how big your system is, reprogramming the whole thing from scratch may not be that bad.

It's the TML that drives me crazy and also the FTC, The system only has 5 zones. when I do a hard reset the system clicks at least 10 times from the board, is there a way to reset the locked installer code? Reprograming the system should be straight forward with only 5 zones.

That's the locked-out clicking of doom. Your installer REALLY didn't trust you and locked out even the reset option.
That's awful that after giving them your money for 13 years they're being such arses about your own hardware.
Your shouldn't get a TLM if your phone line is still connected. All the panel is looking for is >20Vdc on the T&R terminals. I've known of people just hooking up a 24Vdc adapter to those terminals just to get rid of the TLM.

Hah, or initiate a service call with them (hopefully you won't be charged) and when the service tech arrives either try and sweet talk him to give you the code outright or even just stand over his should a bit and watch him as he does his work. You can probably catch his code as he accesses the panel. Customers would watch me all the time during my installs and I wouldn't think twice about what they were seeing.

The worse part is that they didn't even install the system we which to there monitoring service 3 years ago and they seem to think they could lock me out.
