Envisalink 3 for Honeywell 15P/20P

So I bought a new house with an existing Honeywell Vista 15P or 20P.

I have experience with EVL-3 for DSC but no experience with Honeywell Vista including programming...

I am currently getting the following error with my EVL-3 for Honeywell:
"Error: Possible Keypad Conflict Or Keypad Programming Not Completed. Programming Guide
Error:*29 Programming on panel not completed properly. Programming Guide"

I did read the programming guide but now sure how to do the first step to select keypad address as per this "Partition 1 Keypad Selection
For partition 1, select the keypad address that the EnvisaLink will use to control partition 1. This can be from 17 to 23 representing keypads 2-8 respectively. Pick an address that is NOT already used on your system. Keypad 1, address 16, is reserved. Hit modify when you are done. Record this number for later use. "

Please help :(

Don't know if it makes a difference programing-wise, but you need to know if it is a VISTA 15P or a 20P. Once you know the correct Model number, you can download the programing manual for the panel.

You will also need the Installer Code and an Alphanumeric Keypad (makes programming easier), like the 6160 to do the programming steps. Did you get the Installer code from the previous owner? Is it written down on the manual that might be located in the panel? You can first try some of the default code for Ademco VISTA Panel available on the internet if it is not available. You can also find out the Installer code by other widely know techniques outlined in this and other forums.

How many Keypads are currently installed and what are the model number(s)?

I'm guessing that you are using this guide.... https://www.eyez-on.com/EZMAIN/evl3honeywell.php

I have three 6160 keypads assigned 16, 17, and 18. So I originally used address 23 for the EVL3 thinking that would be a good choice. Bad move. That address has issues. I now use 22 for EVL3 partition 1 and 21 for EVL3 partition 2 with no problems at all. The rest of the setup is pretty straight forward as I recall, but you will need to do some programing and will need to use this manual to understand how. http://www.statcommunications.com/downl ... ev%20A.pdf
