Ok - I have my garage doors hooked up with sensors so they chime when they are opened. When i set my alarm - they are not active. Is there away, when the alarm is in Arm Mode, to have the garage door sensors set up so if they are activated - i get an alert/text message?

You didn't specify your alarm system. But if you have a Honeywell Vista system and you want the garage door zone open/close for zone following, you will probably need to put the garage door zone in partition 2 and just not arm partition 2. I had to do that on my Vista 20P system. If you search the archives here you will find the discussions on why that was the best solution.
