My EVL3 all of a sudden just died. I have been searching for any resolution but cannot find anything out there.
Has my card gone the way of disposable e-waste?
I have noticed over the last few days that my email alerts were taking upwards of 1/2 hr to hit my cell.
This is connected to a DSC 1832 system with a PK5500 keypad.

Electronics generally don't "die" once they've past their early break-in period. Something happens to them.
Lightning strikes in rural areas are the bane of security systems. The Envisalink is hardened against lightning surge but only to a certain level.
Start by checking the voltages on the red, yellow, and green terminals. You should read 13.5Vdc, ~6.5Vdc, and ~8Vdc respectively.
If they are good, check if any of the components of the board are hot to the touch. That would indicate surge or ESD failure.

ThanX for your reply, I will check voltages when I get home.
No storms of any sort when this happened, I was sitting there this morning having my coffee when the keypad chimed with the error. Calm outside, no wind..
For clarification
Start by checking the voltages on the red, yellow, and green terminals. You should read 13.5Vdc, ~6.5Vdc, and ~8Vdc respectively.
What is my reference point? neg lead on? pos lead on?
In an email from eyezon support it only mentions to check for 13.5VDC across red and black.
Safe to assume::
red & black = 13.5Vdc
yellow & black = ~6.5Vdc
green & black = ~8Vdc

I put the meter on the black and red, nothing and no readings on the lines.
I touched the connections and the lights on the EVL3 lit up.

The red was completely disconnected from the DSC main board. How that happened, I have no idear. The case is closed and none of my cats could get in?? I guess Murphy payed a visit this morning.
GrandWizard,
ThanX for the suggestions.
