Camera will not show unless computer connected to router.

I am having a problem (I believe) with the url I am typing in to operate the camera on my account. If my laptop is connected to the same wireless router then everything is working. When I am at home and log on through my verizon wireless I can neither see nor operate the camera. IE cannot locate that website message or some such. Any ideas? I have messed with this all weekend and am at my wits end.
