We're getting anecdotal feedback saying that Vodacom in SA is no longer passing SMS messages to our customers there.
If you're in SA, could you share if you have SMS alerts working and with what carrier and any issues you may have had.

It is limited to 3 sms a day.
I've just tested it using my personal email account and it worked, but sending from my corporate email account doesn't work.
So I would assume that perhaps they have blocked large networks from using the service to stop spam, perhaps eyezon is on there as a (potential) high volume sender.
Theoretically one should be able to send SMS notifications to Vodacom numbers by creating an email contact as above. Not sure if this is going to be clear to Vodacom users or if Eyezon will want to add the option back to the SMS notification list and do the processing on the back end. Presuming they can get Vodacom to whitelist their servers.
I have even tried creating a forwarder on my personal web server, so setup is like:
Eyezon contact = mymobile@mydomain.com
mymobile@domain.com > forward email to yournumber@voda.co.za
Still no joy.
Working solution:
1. Vodacom offer a free email service to subscribers. You will need to signup for this and you will get an email account like:
2712345678@vodamail.co.za
2. Within the webmail interface for this account is the option to > turn on 'sms notifications'.
Do this here:

3. Set your EYEZON account to send alerts to your new free email account: 2712345678@vodamail.co.za

This works for me. There is a delay of up to 5 minutes occasionally but usually the SMS is received within 30 seconds.
I believe this lack of reliability is due mainly to the 'best effort' email service that Vodacom provide.
If for some reason the steps above aren't working there's a chance that the email server is blocking EYezOn servers and you MIGHT be able to get this to work by creating a forwarder :
1. Vodacom also offer a free email service to subscribers. You will need to signup for this and you will get an email account like:
2712345678@vodamail.co.za
2. Within the webmail interface for this account is the option to turn on 'sms notifications'
