Local access
Can't access local access.? Typing envisalink does not work and with the module installed I can't see the IP address, any help would be appreciated.

You could check your router to get the IP address. Or if you have an Android or iPhone, install the free "Fing" app which will scan your LAN and show you the IP's of all the devices on it.

I was able to go to my home page, found home and there I found the IP address. I'm stuck on part 1 as I don't see where I input the key pad address that I will be useing?

I'm not sure what "home" page you are referring to. You can only see the "EXTERNAL" IP address that your internet provider assigned to your router on your eyezon.com home page.
instead of just typing Envisalink on the URL input type http://envisalink/
That should bring you to the sign in screen for the EVL-3 where it asks for user and password.
user user is the user and password.
That should bring you to the security setting where you can enter the keypad address for your partition.
When you registered did you register as a Honeywell system?

flyct I am registered as a honeywell user, I got to the page where I assigned my keypad to partition 1 and checked the box account I have a Dialer, now I get code check 103 lngrng radio 0000

Grandwizard I have read but never doing this before sometimes reading isn't enough that's why I entered this forum to as questions. I figured I could ask questions and those that wanted to help would and those that didn't would pass me by. I know how simple something seems when one does it everyday and has been for some time. I restore mechanical clock movements and have done so for a long time. If I took a movement apart and gave someone my instructions on how to put it back together I assure you after reading and reading the instructions this person would have many question even though they read the instructions over and over, sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious for those that have not done that sort of thing.

Don't get frustrated. We all were new to alarms at one point.
If you're getting a check 103, a LRR Failure on your keypad, and you said you checked the box? If you are refering to the Enable IP/GSM/LRR Shadowing check box, then you should not check that box unless you also have also cellular dialer in addition to the EVL-3. If the only communicator is the EVL-3 and you check the Enable IP/GSM/LRR Shadowing box you will get the check 103 failure.

Flyct, I have the system running now, I can go to the eyez on page and arm and disarm, I have all my zones loaded and my contacts I get text when I arm and disarm the system with my iphone. I still have not figured out why when I use the iphone to arm in the stay mode the key pad continues to display "you may exit now" and will not change until I open a door with a delay, when I close the door it does drop off and the system is armed? When I use the iphone to arm in away mode at the end of my 60 second delay the alarm is triggered? For sure I'm closer today than I was yesterday due to this forums help and the help desk at eyez on.

Here's some basic stuff.
I find there is about a 30 second delay before my Vista 20P reacts to my iPhone commands.
When using your iphone to arm or disarm the system is exactly like using your keypad other than the delay for the Eyezon server to communicate to my panel via Internet. In fact I use my iPhone from my bedside to arm my Vista 20P when I got to bed at night.
AWAY/STAY MODES:
If you arm in AWAY mode you get "you may extry now" displayed on your keypad with an audible keypad beeping during the exit delay time. After opening and closing a zone programed and exit zone and time out the alarm will be set in AWAY mode.
IMPORTANT, if you arm in AWAY mode and don't open an exit zone the alarm will default to STAY mode after the exit time delay.
If you set alarm in STAY mode there is still a time delay BUT the keypad does not beep. After the time delay the system arms in STAY mode i.e. Motion sensors are not active. During that time delay you can exit an extry/exit zone. I use this when I leave a large dog in the house and I want to not activate motion detectors. When coming back home and opening an entry/exit zone (front door etc) the keypad beeps and entry delay starts to allow you time to disarm the system.
So, either setting in AWAY or STAY mode, after the delay the system is always armed when using iPhone or keypad.
