Hi, do you offer a trade in of the IP100D for a reduction in cost for the 2DS?

We are planning on doing that. We will announce it in the next few weeks.

I've have been a happy IP100D user for the last year... I'm really interested in upgrading or trading in for a 2DS module!!! When can we expect an anouncement? I saw the previous post suggested something soon?

Is there any reason to wait if there is another module version coming out? 3DS???

I am a DSC 1832 owner, and I was about to purchase the 2DS until I read about the 3 coming out. If I order direct from the site, will I get the 3D or the 2DS?

Also, this store claims to have the 3D, is this a hoax?

Just to clarify, what I meant was whether it was a HOAX that the site linked below had the product for sale, because the new board is not even listed on this site for sale yet.

All worldwide distribution is fulfilling '2DS orders with 3s. While the official release of the 3 has not happened, all our distributors are stocked with 3s.

Any relevant differences between the 2 besides support for Ademco panels? Is it worth me upgrading from the 2DS to the 3?

Not yet I guess... but soon though since the 2DS seems to be running too low on memory to add anything new to it!
