Envisalink 3 with GE Concord Panel?

Hello,

We have an older home with an alarm panel that I guess is GE, since it has a GE 'Concord' touchpad. I would like to know if the Envisalink 3 can work with our panel so we can have ethernet connection and monitoring?

Thank you!

The Envisalink does not support GE panels at this time.

Is there something like the Envisalink that will work with GE panels?

There is, sorta, but it does not have all of the bells & whistles afforded the DIY 'end-user' as Envisalink. You're also limited in options of monitoring companies, if you were to choose that route.

I too tried to build off of an older architecture [GE/Interlogix] system, but continually ran into limitations and obstacles. Finally, I've come to the conclusion that I will need to replace my security control panel/boards with an Envisalink-compatible security control panel [i.e. DSC, Honeywell, etc.] Hopefully the existing window/door sensors and motion detector will be compatible.

Still haven't decided which, and most security system stores are wholesale only - so DIY Q&A has been very limited. It has been a real discovery process and total pain in the arse. lol

Good luck.
