Vista 15p with 2gig gocontrol

Hi Forum,
Im completley new to the forum, I bought the envisalink to install in the alarm system in the house I bought. The alarm panel is a Honeywell Vista 15p and the control panel is a 2gig Gocontrol with the Take-345 rf module on the panel. I installed the envisalink and got all the correct leds working and the website sees the envisalink. buti am getting this error message regarding the keypad address:
Error: Possible Keypad Conflict Or Keypad Programming Not Completed. Programming Guide

Error:*29 Programming on panel not completed properly. Programming Guide

I have gone thru the programming manual on the gocontrol and i can not find a setting to activate the keypad address (only for rf keypads). Is anyone out there that had encounter the same situation that can shed some light?. My wild guess is that I may have to install a fully wired 6150 keypad or so to activate the address. Thanks in advance for any information you may bring on the subject.

The vista 15p and the 2gig go control are two completely separate alarm systems. It appears like the old homeowner had a perfectly good working hardwired alarm system (vista 15p), and either the homeowner, or an alarm company swapped it out with the crappy all in one 2GIG system. It looks like they're still using the hardwired sensors from the old vista panel, and they used 2GIG's takeover module to convert the hardwired sensors into wireless ones.

The envisalink 3 will not work with the 2GIG. If you want to use the envisalink 3, you will need to purchase a new vista 20p panel and at least 1 6160 alpha keypad and get rid of the 2GIG junk.

Board is a 15p but they attached a rf module to communicate with the 2 gig keypad. I had order a honeywell keypad to turn everything back to full hardwire. That should let me configure the board again and make the evl work i hope,Thanks

The vista 15p won't communicate with 2gig panel, what are you trying to do exactly?


If you are trying to switch from Honeywell to 2gig, you will need RE224GT Translator.
