EVL-3CG vs EVL3

I ordered an EVL-3 and received a new model that I haven't seen before (EVL-3cg). The documentation said to register at connect2go instead of eyezon. I have used the previous model several times and always log into eyezon's website.

1) Can I still log into the normal eyezon website to register this device?
2) Is there anything different between the model I received and the previous EVL3?
3) Are there any monthly charges (I don't want to may any monthly fees)?
