Hi,
Can you please confirm whether or not the EVL-4 will work with an Ademco VIA-30PSE panel?

I did some searching, and the manual seems to be the same as for the 10P, but i can't figure this out.

Any confirmation one way or the other would be great because i already bought the EVL-4, so now i just need to decide if i try to hook it up, or put it up on ebay.

Wow, we had to do some in-depth research to find out what a Vista 30PSE was. That panel is 25 years old and was still in production about 20 years ago.

Needless to say, no, it is nowhere near a "P" series panel and it simply a partitioned version of the venerable SE series.

My serious advice to you is to remove that panel and sell it on Ebay as you may be sitting some something quite rare and valuable. There are lots of collectors of old electronics.

Ha - thats funny. I guess its been in this house for over 10 years... time flies.

Whats the easiest panel to replace it with?

I'm not afraid to program it myself - understand i'm going to burn a lot of hours doing so.

I'm not the expert on old Ademco systems so I would recommend sending an email to support@eyezon.com and pitch your case. I would assume a Vista20P (~$60) would be your cheapest option but I'm not sure if the keypads and wireless are still compatible or not.
