EnvisaLink4 RJ45 Connector suggestion

Hi,
I installed my system last week and its working great. Thanks for the great product. I did notice an annoyance this past weekend which might be worth mentioning in the installation kit documentation.

When I installed it, I placed the board on the back wall of my Vista20p metal case (using the 2-sided tape) and I plugged the RJ45 into it. This past weekend I needed to change the Ethernet cable. Unfortunately there was very little space between the connector on the unit and the back wall. I couldn't fit my fingers in to unclip the RJ45, and could barely fit any tool because of the limited space in my case.

Its not a big deal because I probably wont be changing the cable again, but in hindsight I would have installed it in a different location to facilitate the disconnection of the cable. You might want to add a mention of that in the installation kit documentation. If the HW connector were reversed so the cable plugs in such that the RJ45 clip is facing outwards, that would work even better, but thats a HW change which probably isn't worth the trouble.

Just my opinion.

The Envisalink is typically mounted on the side of the cabinet which is why the orientation of the connector is typically not an issue. While the installation video is for DSC systems, Honeywell users should mount it similarly either using the 2-way foam, or by drilling mountings holes and using the nylon standoffs.
