Why does the 2DS status show "Busy" when you enable keypad blanking on the DSC 1832?

Oh, this should be in the FAQ.
If you enable keypad blanking there is no way for the Envisalink to determine the state of the partition so it shows busy. You cannot use Keypad Blanking if you also wish to know your parition state.

It would seem to me that this is something that could be resolved. I kind of hate to have to disable keypad blanking just to use the Envisalink. Especially since there are so many windows in my home and a would-be intruder could see the system status on the panel if not blanked.

It cannot be resolved, if the keypads don't know the state of the partition, then nobody knows.
