Remote program PC1832?

I've been trying to remotely change the date/time of a PC1832.
I'm going into the mobile interface and using the option to enter a "Custom Sequence"
I enter
1) *61234 (Enter User Functions)
2) 1 (Program Time and Date)
3) 1455032612 (HHMMMMDDYY)
4) # Exit User Functions
Should this work? It seems to be very hit and miss as to whether it changes anything and I have yet to be able to change the year. When I go to the IP address of my 2DS, the date isn't set to the year I choose.
I guess the basic question is whether it is possible to stack up commands like this? There's a limit of 10 characters in the Custom Sequence window so I have to divide up the command.

I got this to work by breaking up the commands as follows:
1) *61234 (Enter User Functions)
2) 1 (Program Time and Date)
3) 1455 (time)
4) 032612 (date)
5) # Exit User Functions
Even though 10 characters can be entered it seems that 10 characters aren't actually sent. When I break it up like this it works every time.

Clever.
FYI, the 10 keystroke cap has been moved to 32 and network time updates has been added to the upcoming version of firmware.

Hi exactly what I want to do. How do you do this though?
1) *61234 (Enter User Functions) Do you enter this in Sequence and then Send?
2) 1 (Program Time and Date) At Sequence and Send?
3) 1455032612 (HHMMMMDDYY) At Sequence and Send
4) # Exit User Functions Click on Send Reset (#)
Thanks.

Seabiker was trying to get around the 10 keystroke limit of the IP100D. He/she did this by queuing up multiple keystroke commands which I think is "pretty clever".
The '2DS doesn't have this limit but the portal didn't change to reflect it. The new firmware 1.07, which is in testing now, does't have this restriction. As well, it has the new network-time update feature that will keep your security panel time in-line with localtime (including daylight savings time).

I was looking for information regarding the Custom Sequence and saw this thread.
If I wanted to send the following programming through the Custom Sequence option, could it be sent on one line?
1) *61234 (Enter User Functions)
2) 1 (Program Time and Date)
3) 1455032612 (HHMMMMDDYY)
4) # Exit User Functions
You also mentioned that the 2DS should restore the time and date after a power interruption, but how soon does it take for that to happen? Does it apply the correct time and date if its different on the panel?

The new limit is 32 characters on a line. I am not sure if this is updated on the portal yet, but it is in the firmware.
Time updates are working but they are an "opt-in" feature. Unfortunately the portal web developers are a little behind and haven't put in the selection to "opt-in".
If anyone wants to opt-in now just send you MAC address to
support@eyez-on.com and one of us can modify your account settings manually.

I guess what I am asking is if I could send one command to the panel for these steps:
1) *61234 (Enter User Functions)
2) 1 (Program Time and Date)
3) 1455032612 (HHMMMMDDYY)
4) # Exit User Functions
Can I send it as *61234,1,1455032612,# or something like that?

I noticed just now that there is a "Subscribe To Auto-Time Updates" check box when you click on your Account Details.. Is this working?

Yes but no commas.
*6123411255032612#
Or, as you have noticed, just select "Subrscribe to Auto-Time Updates" on your Eyez-on details page and the server will keep your time updated to the timezone you select in your account details.
There will an announcement on this.

You mean this *6123411455032612# right? I assume it's just a typo for 12:55 and not 14:55..
Thanks!
