"PTT with Trouble"

This is the first time I've seen this code.
I was messing around with the phone yesterday and got a lot of "TLM Trouble" messages-not sure if this is related, since I only got one of the PTT messages, and it was after an overnight period.

Is there any place with a list of acronyms?

Thanks.

The event names are copied from what we see on the LCD keypads, verbatim. We don't interpret them in any way. So sometimes we're just as curious as you are as to what an event means.

TLM means telephone line monitoring. I know PTT means "push to talk" on my radio, but I'm not sure how that would apply to your security system.

Actually I've never seen TLM on my keypad. It's an RFK5500 which displays verbose messages, so it's something like "phone line trouble" or "communication trouble". I have no idea what PTT means. I don't think the error is on there now. It happened at about 3:30 AM or so.

These are the names in the Event Buffer (*6-> master code -> Event Buffer), not necessarily what you see when you look at troubles (*2).

If you go look at your event buffer you should see the same verbage as you seen in the Eyez-On events list.

TLM Trouble means the panel no longer detected phone line voltage (~48Vdc).

PTT with Trouble

Periodic Test Transmission with Trouble

Probably has something to do with the changes you made..

Thanks!
I've been looking on the web, but still no luck on a list of acronyms.

I found a list of reporting codes in Appendix A of this DSC reference manual:
