Rogers is back at it again and is now declining all SMS alerts saying that the phone numbers are invalid. This started around 14:00 eastern and is still in happening. We will update the forum if something changes.

Just an update. It seems that Rogers now requires SMS messages to include the country code of the recipient and that is why most of the SMS messages are failing.

We are going to attempt to modify all Eyezon users of Rogers and Fido to include the country code but in the mean time you can do it yourself by simply adding a "1" to the front of your mobile phone number.

We changed all Rogers and Fido users' contacts to include the country code, "1" for Canada. Service is resumed.

Hi:
For me SMS via Rogers is not working. I tried with the "1" and without and I cannot receive a message on my phone from the Eyez-On service.
If I send an email via Yahoo mail to my phone it comes through fine with or without using the "1" at the start of the number.

So in the end it looks like Rogers was trying out some new anti-SPAM software and that software required the +1. Yesterday they switched back to their old system for some reason so they are allowing either format again.
