Any changes to the Vista 20p Firmware to Fix Reporting Issues?

I am trying to decide whether to buy a Vista 20p alarm system or a DSC 1832. I would like to go with the 20p since there seems to be more accessories for it. However, I've read that the 20p has some limitations with the Envisalink. For instance there is no reporting from the motion sensors while in Stay mode. The posts where I've read this are at least 2 years old so I was wondering if anything has changed since then? Have the new firmware revisions from Honeywell fixed this issue? Thanks

Hi, no, that still remains a limitation of the Honeywell panels. There are potential work-arounds but none are backwards compatible and rely on the use of real or virtual expansion modules.

Thanks. Can you give me a little more detail on the work-arounds? What expansion modules would I need and how complicated is the setup?

None are implemented because they are not backwards compatible and Envisacor doesn't want to have to track panel versions. The Envisalink currently works with any Vista P panel, regardless of vintage.
