My set up has been working for years and all of a sudden I started having my router LAN crash, can't ping anything on the network. All I can do is reset my router to get things back up and running and it would work for hours until it crashed again.
I spent a great deal of time trying to isolate the problem (Not a computer expert so took some time).
Through simple isolation determined the fault only occurred with the Alarm connected, and it did fault with only the Alarm on the router.
I've tried....
Changing the Ethernet cable
Changed out the router (using the backup for settings)
Reset Router settings and start from scratch
Called my ISP and they came out and checked their end.
Logging on to the EnvisaLink and resetting the module
Setting a reserved IP for the EnvisaLink
What I haven't done ...
Hard reset the EnvisaLink (Just read about this on the forum, jump out pins with power off)
Replace the EnvisaLink
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm pulling my hair out on this
