Network Supervision Fault

Post by RyanR »

I've had a 2DS hooked up for about a month or so now, and it's been working wonderfully.

For the first time today, I started receiving "Network Supervision Fault" alerts. I've received 3 of them in the past 3 hours, all followed by a restore quickly later. I received the last "Network Supervision Fault" about 45 minutes ago and have yet to receive the restore. I understand that this means communication is down between my module and the server...thing is my home internet connection is just fine, and it has been up the entire time the module has been in network fault.

Anything I should do? Should I reset the module, if so, what's the best way?

Mine also started going nuts this morning ... getting texts every 5-10 minutes... It started at 07:24:07 AM EST. I've rebooted envisalink, no change.

Sounds like the Eyez-On servers then.

Same here in USA area code 949. After many months of a solid connection, I just had a series of "Supervision Faults/Restores" over the last few hours and currently, my 2DS has not been connected to the Eyez-On server for the last half hour. My router, modem and everything else on my network is working OK.

It appears the trouble is not on my end. What's up Eyez-On?

Same thing here. Obviously, a portal or f/w issue...

It's definitely the servers.. Thought my Internet connection was being buggy but checked the 2DS on it'd local Web Page and it shows the Web servers down..

Sent them a support request to alert them..

As many of you have noticed we are experiencing network difficulties that started this morning. The service is running, but slowly. We have our team working on it now and will post an update when we are back up to full speed.

Note: This only affects the EnvisAlerts portion of the service and has no impact on central station monitoring.
