Can a Network Supervision fault set alarm off

Hello,

I am using an EnvisaLink4 connected to a Honeywell Vista 20p for about a month. Last night the cable company took the internet down at 1:30am for maintenance. My alarm which was in armed stay mode went off at the time. There were no faults shown on the panel but I quickly received a text of a Network Supervision fault. Reading this forum I see that the notification was exactly what should have happened, but I see no mention here of anyone having their alarm actually set off. Obviously this does not pass the wife acceptance factor and either I resolve or remove the device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alan

Solved.

When my internet went down so did my digital voice line (wish I still had POTS). My field *92 (phone line monitoring) on the vista 20P was set to 2, so the alarm went off.

Thanks to Ted from customer support for his prompt reply and figuring out my problem.
