EVL 4 TPI Port unable to login

I am trying to login to the EVL4 on port 4025. I get a login prompt. As soon as I start typing the password 'user', the session terminates. Please help.

DSC or Honeywell? If DSC then there is almost no way to work "interactively" with the TPI. You need to write software.

Are you using Telnet? DON'T. Use a raw socket client like PuTTY in raw mode or a terminal with raw TCP client

There is a 5 second timeout, are you within that?
