Hello,

I'm getting a keybus alarm on my keypads when I hook up the EVL 4 on my DSC PC 5020. The keypads show " keybus trouble" and will not otherwise function. All wires are connected to the correct terminals and are secure.

The KEYB light on the EVL 4 is flashing, all other light are on and working correctly.

I checked addressing of the keypads as I read the EVL 4 module defaults to slot 8.

My keypads are addressed as 1 & 2 on partition 1. It wasn't this way when I first added the EVL4 module but it has been corrected. I did a 902 Module Supervision Reset in programming mode and then verified it was correct with 903. There are no other modules being used on the keybus ( ie. zone expanders ).

This did not correct it.

I tried putting the EVL4 alone on the keybus on the main pc board to see if it would connect but no luck, KEYB light flashing and keybus trouble on the keypads when I reconnected them.

Not sure what else to try here.

Any help would be appreciated or please direct me to a post that addresses the issue ( I did look but couldn't find anything )

You probably downloaded the wrong firmware (Envisalink UNO). Submit a tech support request and we can look at your telemetry.
