Internet Access

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, I was unable to find it

My router is no where near where I will be installing my Envisalink4, I’ve looked into it a little bit and it looks like I can purchase either a hub or a switch which will extend my wifi and allow an Ethernet to connect to, does anyone know which would be better, and are there any specifically that people have found work the best?
