I have a Vista 20P currently on IpDataTel CBAT (CDMA) via AlarmRelay and I'm frustrated with their service.

From my research it seems that I want an EVL-4EZR for DIY and maybe monitoring service, but the question is where to buy it from, there's a warning on the Amazon site that some sellers are not authorized and warranty will not be honored. There are all sorts of sellers on ebay, walmart, jet.com but I have no idea who is authorized and who is not.

LOL, that's right. They took it down to migrate to a new platform which still isn't completed. Ok, until then, please feel free to buy from any of our online distribution partners.

Or the company is Envisalink and EyezOn is something else? Very confusing Connect2Go versions, EVL-4EZR version, then some sellers simply say EVL-4 and have no idea exactly what you're getting.

Yes, this is the official Eyezon forum run by the technical support group but is mainly contributed to by our customers.

We only support our version of the Envisalink, the EVL-4EZ or the newer EVL-4EZR. The manuafucturer makes other versions for other companies but ours has the larger box that clearly says Eyezon on the front. It also includes extra hardware for the typical DIY customer.

I went and ordered one from Amazon via one of the authorized sellers listed here: http://forum.eyez-on.com/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4993
I don't want to name the seller because it may just be an honest mistake or everything's fine and there's no mistake.

I received it and:
- the packing slip says EVL-4CG
- on the box I see EVL-4EZ (no R)
- the box contains: the board, quick-start manual, short 4-conductor white wire, double-sided sticky tape and 3 plastic mounts

I'm confused whether this is the EVL-4EZR or the 4CG version (unclear what the difference is between 4EZ and 4EZR). Should I just install it or send it back? This is all so mysterious. Thanks for your continued help.

No, that's our box. The Envisalink 4EZR (Eyezon Retail Pack). I have no idea why they would list it as the Connect2Go version as it clearly is not.

So there really isn't a 4EZR version, just a 4EZ as seen on the box in the photo above?
