Add custom SMTP?

I'm interested in the EVL4 add-on module for the Vista panel, but wonder about the longevity of the company and what happens in the event they stop providing services. No offense to eyezon but I've just bought things from other companies that require something from them and then they sell or quit providing services and I'm stuck with a device that does nothing.

Is there a way to provide a custom SMTP server to relay mail through in the event the company does go out of business?

Other than that, everything looks great and has everything that I can possibly think of. I'm really impressed a company came out and can integrate something into a panel that will notify me.

Scratch that. I was going through the stickey's and saw there's a syslog option. If this is the case, I could send the syslogs from the device to a linux server and generate smtp from that!
