Can the EnvisaLink report without the central station being called?

I apologize ahead of time if this is answered somewhere, I don't even know what terms to use to search for this topic on the board.

I have a DSC1864 system with an EVL-4. Is there a way to set up a zone (specifically a panic button fob) to trigger an alert (ie. txt message) from the EVL-4 to me, but NOT call the central monitoring station (monitored via phone line)?

Currently, it is set up as a type "15" (medical panic button) and notifies me and the central station.

Thank you for any help.

Sure, just enable the zone as a Zone Follower and that will not report to your station but you will still get an alert. You can find out more information about Zone Followers in the FAQ, found on this forum.

Thank you!

Do I need to change the zone type on the panel to something that doesn't report to the central station in addition to setting up the follower on the Eyez-On config page?

Yes, you should make the zone definition number 26 (24HR Non-Alarm).

I don't use followers but just added a couple type-26 zones to my system for Home Automation.

Can I still add them to the EnvisAlarms page so that I can get zone labels in the Eyez-On app?

Yes, just add them as zones in your Envisalarms setup and maybe indicate in the notes that these are "monitor only" zones. They won't generate any signals to the station anyhow.
