FC Code Vista20 with InvisaLink4

Recently installed an EvisaLink4 and am very happy with it.

I would like to try to correct one small issue. My keypad currently shows an FC code. We were being monitored by phone but the land line has been removed and we are now monitoring with the EnvisaLink4. I would like to get rid of the nuisance code if possible. I am somewhat familiar with programming and I know my installer code. My panel is an old ADT but is very similar to a Vista20P.

You need to disable Telephone Line Monitoring and as well as disabling the dialer. Refer to your Vista20P installation manual for the exact sections.

To add what Grand Wizard wrote, FC = Failed Communication. It’s trying to call the central station phone number.

You need to delete the previously entered central station phone numbers in *41 and *42. To do that when in programming mode hit *41* and *42* than *99 to exit programming.
