[SOLVED] Resetting EnvisaLink (because of unknown password) EVL4 DSC questions

Hello and Happy New Year!

I have my system installed from the technicians who sell the alarm system, so I don't know the password to login to EnvisaLink (EVL4 DSC).
I have found instructions to reset password on http://www.eyez-on.com and on board.

My questions are:
-Is username always "user"?
-If I reset the board will other settings except password get lost? Did the technician do any settings on the EnvisaLink board?

Yes, the username for the Envisalink is always "user".

Don't do a factory reset, use the "Reset Local Password" link under Settings in your Eyezon portal. It puts the password back to "user" too.

Thank you, but here: http://forum.eyez-on.com/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=2089 I read some users although they reset device password on the webpage they had to reset the board too afterwards to work, that is why I am asking.

Also on eyezon portal it says "Reset Device Password" and not "Reset Local Password", is it the same?

That customer was having problems with the TPI beyond the password. The factory reset was coincidental.

Yes, I made a mistake, it is called Reest Device Password in the Settings page. Sorry.
