EnvisaLink 4 Customer Support Non-existant

A week or 2 ago I purchased an EnvisaLink 4 for my Honeywell security system. Following the instructions, I drilled 3 holes for the standoff mounting clips, disconnected the power source, wired the EnvisaLink 4 onto the Vista 20P panel (quadruple checking connections) and reconnected the power & battery. Things did not look good. The system did not appear to power up completely. Not only did the EnvisaLink card indicators NOT show any life but the entire panel acted weird. While the keypad was back lighted, pressing key would produce a beep but the system could not arm or do anything else. (sigh)

I disconnected the EnvisaLink and fortunately the security system came back up & functionality returned. Looking for some troubleshooting advice I opened a Ticket ( #27242). I received the auto response straight away promising a response in 24 hours. Not hearing anything after a few days I replied to the message asking if there would be customer support. Well, nothing. Nada! Their support sucks! So tomorrow I plan to repackage my purchase & return it to Amazon (before my 30 days are up!). :(

Now I'll have to search for another way to connect my system to the Internet.

That really isn't very fair. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer support and you will see many reviews on Amazon attesting to this.

One of our technicians replied to ticket 27242 on February 27th at 6:09AM. The ticket was generated after-hours at 6:42pm. I think that is pretty impressive support seeing that our tech-support office doesn't even open until 9AM EST.

I would check your SPAM folder before posting something like this.

Anyhow, the message sent on February 17th simply says:

"With your multi-meter check the resistance across the RED and BLK terminals on the Envisalink. Visually inspect the board for damage."

Do that and email support@eyezon.com quoting that ticket number with what you find. Replying to the auomated message from "no-reply" goes nowhere, hence the name "no--reply".

While it is very unlikely you have a new board that is damaged, it sometimes does happen.

Thanks for the reply. And my apology as the message must have been caught up in SPAM mail. My bad!

I'll close this thread and respond to customer support.
