Honeywell Vista 48 in Australia

Hi Guys

Has anyone had any luck using an EVL4 (or any model for that matter) on any of the Australian delivered Honeywell panels?

The most commonly installed domestic panels here are the Vista 48A and Vista 12A. Although not listed on the website as compatible, they tick all the boxes in regards to allowing external communicators and addressable keypads.

I have just ordered an EVL4 to try on my panel at home but thought I’d check if anyone has first hand experience here.
Will be a game changer if it works as we can’t use Total Connect in Australia and supposedly the Tuxedo is being phased out so we will be losing the option for email notification.

Based on the instruction manual it does seem that the Vista48 will work. It supports both addressable keypads and an external communicator (ACM).

Let us know in tech support when you have it working and we can get it added to the supported list.

It's due for arrival on May 18 so a bit of time still but I will update on here once I've installed it. Will be a game changer in Aus if it does work for me.
