Keyboard Address Question

Hi Gang!
I am a newbie...
I just installed a Vista 20P to replace my old Napco solely for the purpose of adding an EnvisaLink 4.
Its all in now but I have a few "new guy" issues.
I thought I would keep each question to a separate post. I figure I am a learning curve guy and once I figure out a couple of things, other things will come more easily.
My Vista 20P has three keyboards. Since the EVL4 defaults to 18, I programmed the rest of my keyboards as:
16 Keypad #1 Main
17 Keypad #2 Secondary
18 Envisalink
19 Keypad #3
I am now wondering if I should have just taken the time to move EVL4 to 19 and then add the 3rd keyboard as 18.
Logically, it makes sense but I wanted to leave the EVL4 on its default address.
My question is -- will this cause me any problems? I am a little confused about the discussion of partitions and Keypads on Page 8
Does the number of Keypads have anything to do with the number of partitions? I am thinking I will only need one partition.
Thanks!
Greg
