Envisialarm environmental handling

Post by dougpark464 »

I noticed there’s configurable call procedures for burglary and fire incidents which make sense.

How are environmental triggers such as water sensor handled? Or if there’s a power outage? Is it call only to key holders and not to fire/police?

Also my dsc panel is configured for emergency buttons: fire, ambulance and silent police. Is there a place to configure the call procedures for these buttons?

No, the station's operator would not call the police if your water sensor went off. Police are called for alarms "BURG" zones and the fire department for FIRE zones.

You can put whatever you want in the "Special Procedures" but if you press the Fire key you will get standard fire response. If you press the panic key you will get panic response which will be to call the premise and call the police at the same time. That is what that button is for.
