2DS not working with iphone app please help

hi there.....

I found the ip address linked with the envisalink 2DS..

I used port 80

I'm using No-ip to give me a stable connection... I got everything else working but the envisalink 2DS

but for some reason I can't log in using my DSC ALARM app ( iphone )

P.S. When I had internet with a static ip , then it was working... but I changed ISP ( internet service provider ) it has now stopped.

PLEASE HElp

Do you have the proper port forwarding setup on your router ? Does your isp block webservers on port 80 on the dynamic ips ? (use 8080 or some other port instead)


Note - its been discussed in the past that this is a bad idea for security reasons though.

Agreed, the local webserver on the Envisalink is not intended to be visable to the public Internet for security reasons. That's why you should use the portal or the mobile portal externally, among other reasons.
