Envisalink + Sidekick vs a DUO – functionally identical?

Pls forgive me if I missed it but I’ve searched this forum several different ways without joy.

Over the years, I’ve installed four Envisalink’s for family and friends. Everyone loves the product. I’m planning another install but am considering adding LTE connectivity via either a Sidekick or a DUO. It looks as though for a new install, a DUO makes more sense to use instead of an Envisalink and a Sidekick. Is this correct? Are both setups functionally identical or does one have features the other does not? Are installations on a Honeywell 20P the same?

Yes, they are functionally identical for Honeywell. On DSC, the DUO does not have a DLS port.
